Excursion about Vernadsky station

• The excusion group forms near “Getty” or “Slip” moorage (depend on sea-ice situation).

• As a rule excusion begins at direction indicator.

• Then tourists follow to the hall, take off their overcoats and shoes.

• Inaugural lecture begins at the bulletin board.

• They visit offices and laboratory (ionospher research laboratory, meteorological laboratory ets.).

• They visit also aid post and surgery, radio shack, gym.

• On the first floor visitors can look in the library and Faraday bar, and use Post office service. In addition, the station may provide the opportunity for visitors to purchase a range of merchandise (e.g. postcards, cloth patches, pin badges, T-shirts).

• Tourists leave their favourable reports in visitors’ book and return to the hall, put on their overcoats and go to the Zodiac.
