THE OZONE LAYER DYNAMICS AND CLIMATE CHANGES (Ozone - Climate)

The project concerns two main themes: 1) dynamics of ozone layer and changes of UV-radiation, 2) ozone and climate changes and its feedback. The project is based on the observational data of satellites TOMS, ENVISAT, Aura, ACE, Odin, POAM III and SAGE III, and also of ground stations, in particular, Vernadsky station.
The project is one of components of the international cluster program ORACLE-O3, and also two projects of the International polar year 2007-2008 ICESTAR/IHY, (Interhemispheric Conjugacy Effects in Solar-Terrestrial and Aeronomy Research) and ClicOPEN (Impact of climate induced glacial melting on marine and terrestrial coastal communities along the Western Antarctic Peninsula).
